Mystery Shopping FAQ: General InformationWhat is a mystery shopper? A mystery shopper is someone who poses as a regular customer, visits a store or restaurant and discreetly collects information. The mystery shopper then files a report with the company that hired them. As a mystery shopper you will be asked to evaluate the customer service and your interactions with store associates. You may also be asked to make a reimbursable purchase and evaluate items like the store’s cleanliness, merchandise presentation or merchandise availability. All of these activities are completed without the associate or store knowing you are a mystery shopper. You are responsible for collecting the required information confidentially. How do I apply to be a mystery shopper with your company? To register, please go to http://shopper.servad.com and click the link “Click Here to Apply.” From there, read the Independent Contractor’s Agreement and type “I AGREE” if you agree with its terms and conditions. You will be brought to the application. Simply complete the application and submit it. Your application will be reviewed. If it is accepted, you will receive an email notifying you that you have been entered into our shopper list and are now eligible to be notified about shops in your area.
